Description
Perfect timing for the collector of vintage Noritake china, I am extremely pleased to be offering an entire set 94 pieces of the highly sought after “Daphne” pattern, number 5312. This gorgeous set is in mint condition, (I do not believe that it was ever used) I see no evidence of scratches, fork or knife marks, no crazing, cracking, etc. elegant gold trim is in excellent condition. With the exception of the following, (1 saucer has a minute chip and the tureen handle has been repaired), these defects occurred during the unpacking process. This set was kept wrapped and safely stored away from the elements. Trust me when I say “this is one of the nicest sets I have personally ever have found in this condition” and with all the extra serving pieces it is certainly a RARE find! Here is your opportunity to own an entire set of some of the finest china in the world today. The set includes; 12 dinner plates, 12 entrée/salad plates, 12 soup bowls, 12 bread plates, 12 dessert/side dishes, 13 cups, (this is not a typo, there are 13 cups) 12 saucers, 1 large meat platter, 1 small meat platter or tidbit tray, 1 gravy boat with attached under-tray 1 covered tureen w/lid 2 oval serving bowls 1 round serving bowl 1 creamer 1 sugar bowl w/lid This is a must have for collectors of Noritake, or would make an outstanding gift. Please feel free to check other sites for comparative pricing, I went to Chinalane.com and calculated that this set would cost over $1200.00, to purchase the pieces that are being listed in this auction. I apologize in advance, but this one is a Reserve auction, I do not typically set a reserve but, I must protect my investment on this one. Please email with questions or to request additional pic’s. Be sure to check our other auctions in the coming days and weeks for a very nice collection of carnival, opalescent, and vintage Fenton glass, Ciche, European porcelain lamps from Milan. We will also be offering a great collection of vintage jewelry lot's, antique boxes, vintage paper dolls, and other vintage dolls. Thank you for looking and Happy Bidding! For this auction I would suggest using UPS shipping service due to the weight. Please note: as the shipping for this item is going to be costly due to weight, I will offer a 50% discount on the shipping cost (inside US only) for BIN price, or a lower discount rate for the winning bidder. Shipping cost will be calculated by weight only, there is never a charge for handling/packaging.   Terms of sale: Please be advised I am a collector, not a jeweler,  not a glass blower, nor am I a toy manufacturer or starving artist, by no means am I a Rocket Scientist but, I do strive to be honest, diligent individual when it comes to providing an accurate description of the item I am selling. If an item is listed as vintage, it is, if it is a reproduction/copy you will also be made aware of that. If I can’t provide an honest approximate age, or maker, I will make that clear as well. You the bidder will be given all the information that I have on the item. Pictures are happily provided, so don’t be afraid to ask for more, the more you see the more confidence you have when placing your bid. Please always ask questions, before you bid, not after you buy. This is important! If for some reason I cannot answer your question I will, by all means, explain that as well. I strive to accommodate each bidder/buyer but, do not like buyer’s remorse when it comes to such things as color, or shape/size, or whatever the case may be. Please just take the time to ask, if you are curious, then you have a question that needs to be answered. Insurance is necessary for all glassware and fragile items. This protects us all. There is never a hidden charge for handling/packaging, I supply the packing material at no cost. You will be charged at the rate according to USPS Priority, unless you make other arrangements prior to the end of auction.
