Set is in very close to mint condition. This set is very rare. Usually see 3-4 pieces of this set. This auction if for all eight pieces. The gilting is all hand painted and is 99.99999%. The gilt stars on the tops and stoppers are present and in near perfect condition. There is VERY light wear on the bottoms. Each stopper is hand etch numbered and its corresponding jar is the same. (these are original matches) There are extactly two very very small chips, both are completely unobtrusive and are on the undersides of rims. (please see the close up picture) Otherwise in amazing condition. This set is extremely elegant. The dimensions are as follows: Vase 7 3/8" tall, jar one 8 5/8" tall, jar two 7 3/4" tall, jar three 6 1/4" tall, wide jar 5 3/4" tall, rectangular dish 4 3/4" long x 3 1/2" wide x 4 1/4" tall, jewel dish one 3 1/4" diameter x 2 1/8" tall, jewel dish two 2 7/8" diameter x 2" tall. I try to describe items fully and properly identify them as best as possible.  I am overly cautious when it comes to condition.  I am particularly careful to describe any imperfections and when necessary include pictures.  Vintage is a word used to describe old.  It could be vintage and be from the 1970s or vintage 1920s.  Antique to me means more than 100 years old.  Clothing is either washed or dryer freshened.  Sometime I can verify that the item came from a smoke/perfume/pet-free environment, please ask if this is an issue for you. Some items may need dry-cleaning. I pack the day after receiving payment and ship immediately (Monday-Saturday).  The way I see it is if you are kind enough to pay me quickly, I should repay the favor by packing carefully and shipping quickly.  Packing I overpack everything.  My feeling is that there is simply no reason for my clients to receive a broken item and be disappointed.  I use clean wrappings and bubble wrap, peanuts, airpaks, Styrofoam panels, cardboard, whatever is necessary to fully protect and secure your item.  More than 50% of my items are double boxed when shipped. Shipping I exclusively ship via USPS.  I offer three services: 1.USPS Parcel Post- Cheapest but takes 2-9 days depending on where the item is going.  Some say that the handling isn't so great for fragile items so it is not necessarily the best choice.  Also, please note that if your item, in its packaging, is less than 13 ounces, and you have chosen USPS Parcel Post, it will actually be sent via First Class Mail.  The reason being that delivery is faster (2-5 days)  2. USPS Priority Mail- My choice.  USPS Priority Mail takes 2-5 days, is typically not much more cost than Parcel Post and apparently has better handling.  3. USPS Express Mail- If you really, really need your item fast, 1-2 days, and VERY expensive. Insurance is always recommended and in all of my listings is either optional or required.  I cannot be responsible for items that are uninsured. Tracking numbers are available if you request for me to do Delivery Confirmation.  For Delivery Confirmation, please add $0.50 to the shipping cost. After packing and shipping your item, I send an e-mail confirming receipt of your payment, and that the item has shipped.  If you chose to insure your item and it is over $50.00, you will receive the USPS Insurance Label Number in the e-mail.  If it is less than $50.00, I will confirm that it was insured for the amount of your purchase, but you will not receive a Label Number (Different form used by the USPS for Insurance under $50.00).  I will also send the Delivery Confirmation Label Number in the e-mail if this service is chosen. Payment Methods, Etc. My accepted payment methods are: PayPal, money orders or cashiers checks.  International buyers are always welcome but must pay with PayPal ONLY. I am always happy to quote shipping costs for out-of-country purchases, so please inquire.
