George Jones operating the Trent Pottery in Stoke (Stoke-on-Trent) from 1861. In 1873 the firm was renamed George Jones & Sons. This platter is an early piece, marked on the bottom with George Jones mark & stoke-on-Trent. It was made between 1861 to 1872. Measure 17" L x 9" W. It has the tip on one end is broken-off (not noticeable see pic), other than that, it is in very good condition. Please view the pictures below for more details.
