The reason why this bisque statue is so expensive is due to it's marker and age. This Mark thats shown below in one of the pictures is to mark the age for it, which is from 1765-1795. If you got a reasonable offer, i would be willing to end the sale early. Now on to the condition. For how old it is, it's still in great shape, the only disappointments are the broken off mirror that was suppose to be on the table, and the broken off finger of the gentleman sitting in the chair. The other damage would be found on the lady standing up straight, her pointer finger is broken off, and her pinky finger is broken off the other hand. There are just two more damages, the lady that is assisting the lady standing up, her pinky finger has been broken off. The last damage is on the gentleman sitting down on the chair, it's been broken off, but glued back together long time ago, so that might evan be precious due to it's history and the old repair. Other than that, this statue is still listed for pretty cheap, statues like this in perfect condition go over for 10k! The details are breath taking. A true masterpiece.
