Offered is an adorable cookie jar top that if you happen to have the top, is quite a find. Thanks to the assistance of a fellow ebayer, we have been able to confirm this was made by American Bisque in the 1950s and is 1/2 of a very valuable cookie jar known as Jack in the Box. If you flip it over, you will find a hairline on the underside of the rim where it sits down inside the bottom, but it does not reach the clown and does not show at all without turning it upside down.
